Auto Tint FAQ’s
-
Your new tint will look great right away, but it still needs time to fully cure. Depending on the weather, curing can take 3–5 days — sometimes a little longer in humid Florida conditions.
During that time, you might notice a light haze or small water bubbles. That’s totally normal and will disappear as the film dries. Avoid rolling your windows down until the film has completely settled to ensure a perfect, long-lasting bond. -
We recommend waiting at least 3–5 days before rolling your windows down. The film’s adhesive needs time to set, especially in cooler or humid weather. Once the tint has cured, you can operate your windows as usual — your installation is built to handle everyday use.

Ceramic tint is the gold standard for performance. Unlike traditional dyed film, ceramic tint blocks up to 96% of infrared heat and nearly 100 % of harmful UV rays — keeping your cabin cooler and protecting your interior from fading.
At Tint Monkeys, all our films are ceramic-based, available in three performance levels: Select, Pro, and Elite. No matter which you choose, you’re getting advanced protection designed for the Florida sun. -
Absolutely. Ceramic window tint significantly reduces the amount of infrared heat entering your car, which can lower interior temperatures by 20–30 °F on hot days. It’s not just comfort — it reduces A/C strain, improves energy efficiency, and protects leather, plastics, and electronics from UV damage.

Yes — as long as it meets Florida’s legal limits. Here’s a quick breakdown:

Windshield: tint allowed above the AS-1 line only

During the first few days, avoid:
Rolling down the windows
Wiping the inside glass
Using suction cups or adhesive mounts on the tint
Allowing pets or seatbelts to rub against the glass edges
Once the film has cured, treat it gently — clean with an ammonia-free glass cleaner and a microfiber towel to maintain that flawless finish.
